This week has been a major milestone for Southeast Asia that Yahoo has acquired Indonesian based start-up, Koprol, a social networking and location based mobile service similar to FourSquare. We interviewed Rama Mamuaya from DailySocial.net as he retraced the story on how he started using the service thru a private invite from the founders to the day where they announced the acquisition. He also share with us some of the background behind Koprol with respect to users and features and how the Blackberry has driven users to Koprol in Indonesia. As Rama is attending Echelon 2010, we asked him what he expects from the upcoming conference.
